Ending Week Three

I optimistically wished in my journal that by the end of week two, I'd be settled...  Well, I have settled, but everything continues to change, which is good.  If you've been following, you'll know that I moved this week, and so far the only thing that made noise outside of my new window was a cat.  Needless to say, my sleeping has improved.

My favorite way into a new place is through the music, and, my goodness, have I made some fantastic discoveries!  I must encourage you all to listen to Matthew Kilford.  I downloaded his ep yesterday, and haven't been able to stop listening.  So worth the money (plus, you might just get a personal email from him after :)  I'm going to see a local band called Chasing Owls on Sunday, which I'm incredibly excited about.  Just watch this video and you'll see why!

I've adopted a daffodil, who fits in beautifully with my blue walls, and fulfills my need to have something living apart from myself in my room.  This weekend is going to be an exciting one.  I'm going to a artist's market tomorrow morning, and seeing the Black Keys tomorrow night, and then Chasing Owls in Glasgow on Sunday.  All is lovely.  Love, C
